My friend Andy Mayville
When I lived in Lansing a few years ago, I became really great friends with Andy. There was not a week gone by that we did not see each other.

In many ways, Andy and I were a lot alike. There was a time when I envisioned myself together with him (He is completey straight...but I loved him notheless!)

When I moved to Mt Pleasant, we still tried to keep in touch. We would still see each other every now in then...and would talk to each other on the phone whenever possible.

After I starting spending most of my free time with Ryan, I think Andy and my friendship suffered. It wasn't that I stopped caring about him; things just were not the same.

About two years ago, Andy got married to a great women named Bonni. I was in their wedding.

I did not see or talk to Andy since october. The last time I spoke to him, feelings were hurt. Many months have since passed. Last week was his birthday. I decided to give him a call.

It was really nice to catch up with him. I think we can save our friendship. I have thought of Andy, Bonni, and Mia (their daughter) many times in the past six months.

I talked to Andy again this past weekend, and even yesterday. He is a great man and I hope that we are friends forever.
