My Dad's Birthday
Today is my fathers 65th birthday! This afternoon, Ryan, Erik (my younger brother), Dean and Cheryl (my brother and his wife) and my parents went to Lansing to have dinner. We had a great dinner. It was nice to see my brother Dean and his wife Cheryl. This was the first time that Ryan has met them.

Speaking of Ryan meeting my family...

My parents decided to tell my grandparents that I am gay. The majority of my family

They decided to tell them now because of Erik's graduation from CMU. Erik wants our grandparents to come to CMU to see his graduation...Ryan will also be there, so my parents did not want my grandparents to be confused.

So I guess I am out to all of my family now.

My parents think that they took it fairly well. My mom says that they cried for awhile. (my mom was even crying telling me this!!!) I need to call my grandparents and talk to them in person.

My grandma said something cute to my mom. She has always made me yummy chocolate chip cookies...and said that even though I am gay, she will continue to make me cookies!

I love my grandparents very much and can not wait for them to meet the man that I love!
